About the Event
Hi all!
We would like to empower and enlighten non-tech people (especially moms, housewives, etc) on how they can design, setup and deploy a professional website to help them take their business ideas online. This course will help non-tech people to be :
1. More well equipped when it comes to handling issues like buying a domain name, signing up for hosting provider,Â
2. also understanding the do's and don'ts in web designingÂ
3. What is the difference between web builders and Content Management Systems (CMS)
4. as well as the various website builder and content management system to use.
The Trainer
The trainer will be David Chan.
David Chan has been developing web and mobile applications since 2006, and eventually ventured into software product architecture and project management in 2014 as a freelancer. He has substantial experience in web and mobile system applications designing and development.
Pre-requisites
a. Â Have a laptop
b. Â Internet Connections
c. Â Keen interest in learning about internet and how things works
d. Â Register an account with Wix.com as well as Wordpress.com
